About the program
8-Lesson Journey to Launch a Student-Coded Time Capsule to the Moon
ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, & HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
The Moon Mission program is an 8-lesson, career-focused program where students explore space technologies, discover STEM careers, write creative essays, and code digital time capsules—culminating in the opportunity to send their projects to the Moon on a NASA mission. The program includes teacher guides, student activities, and standards-aligned lesson plans, with all student projects engraved onto a crystal archive and delivered to the lunar surface aboard a robotic rover. The Moon Mission program is facilitated by the school/campus teacher or educator who receive all program lesson plans and training in advance to run the program.
