MOON MISSION IS AVAILABLE FOR HOMESCHOOL & TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS (Contact our team for student groups larger than 50 for a discount)

Moon Mission: Lunar Legacy is a self-paced, fully online STEM program that gives students the opportunity to send their own creative work to the Moon. Curriculum targets students in grades 5-8.

Students access all program materials through an online portal, completing 45 interactive digital activities across 8 NGSS-aligned lessons. Each lesson takes approximately 60–90 minutes, for about 8–12 hours total. Students can start anytime and work at their own pace.

The adventure follows a mission to rescue a fictional crew stranded on the Moon. Students explore space careers, form crews, design mission patches, and investigate lunar hazards. Through digital labs and simulations, they test protective systems, explore rocket launches and lunar landings, develop communication methods, code a rescue vehicle, and design power systems. They finish by reflecting on their experience and creating a personal Lunar Legacy project.

To be included in the lunar mission targeting 2028, students must complete the program and submit their project by August 31, 2027. All submitted projects will be sent to Uplift Aerospace for laser inscription into 5D memory crystals, which will be attached to a lunar rover or lander for delivery to the Moon’s surface.

Once their work reaches the Moon, students can look up for the rest of their lives and know that something they created is there.
